Are you obsessed with music? Do you love the creative challenge that directing presents? Are you fascinated by all aspects of radio?
Well, then you’re a perfect candidate to be a Music Director at a radio station. But where do you start? How do you get a job at a radio station? How do you convince the powers that be that you know what you’re talking about and that you are a capable and knowledgeable individual?
That’s where the Radio Connection comes in. Our program is simple it was designed to get you in the door, prove your skill, and give you the opportunity to learn from a pro. The Radio Connection’s single goal is to jumpstart your career, plain and simple.
How do we do that?
We pair you with a currently working Music Director. You go to work, inside a real radio station, learning your craft from an industry vet. You’ll learn everything there is to know about music direction for radio. Did we mention that you’d be working in a real radio station? Because you’ll be working in a real radio station. All of the knowledge and experience that you’re going to gain is going to be real world application. No dusty classrooms, no theory, no books. Just good old-fashioned real world work.
The other major component to our program is that because you’ll be working inside a radio station you’ll be proving yourself to the people that matter. You’ll be working side by side with the people that, after you graduate, will be able to hire you. You’ll be constantly proving that you’re dedicated, driven and that you have the skills to pay everyone’s bills.
