Dear Jim,
I wanted to drop you a line to thank you for sending Howie Icenhower my way as a mentee. He just completed his training and performed so well that he has become employed as a weekend announcer and he is also helping co-produce a weekly show we feature called Welcome the ’90s. Not only has Howie impressed myself, he also raised the eyebrows of upper management here; all thanks to his professionalism and desire to learn and succeed. If this is the type of quality you’re sending on a regular basis, send me more mentees. They will undoubtedly be extremely valuable to our station.
