Dear Jimi,
The words ‘thank you’ don’t come close to how I feel about the Radio Connection program. I started with R.C December 1997 at Clear Channel Communications in St. Petersburg, Florida, working with John Kelly, production man (and a great guy by the way).
On October 2, John said why don’t I take my air check tape for P.D of JO 101.5 Lee Reynolds to hear. I did. Lee asked after listening to half of the hour and a half-minute tape, how was I on the board! And, he would get back to me after talking with John. I got a call the next day asking if I could do a Saturday overnight? My reply was “Can a fish swim?” I am now the weekend-man on Tampa Bay’s Jammin Oldies JO 101.5 in a market that’s twenty-first in the country.
So I would say to anyone wanting to break into the communications or recording tech field, ‘forget years of schooling and go with The Radio Connection Program.’ Also, to ‘follow your dreams no matter what anyone might say.’
